Located in the heart of the New Orleans Central Business District, the fortress-like Security Center was built originally as the Federal Reserve Bank. Security Center is a UL certified central station located 75 feet above street level providing local service 24 hours a day 7 days a week with CSAA Five Diamond certified operators. The building has the highest fire and wind resistance rating by the Property Insurance Association of Louisiana. All telephone lines are underground and the central station is equipped with a state of the art telephone system. Security Center has a complete system redundancy. In addition, the building is equipped with natural gas and propane generators. In the case of an emergency, all data lines are forwarded to BOLD in Boulder, Colorado. All voice calls and dispatching will take place at the Alarm Response Center in Cleveland Ohio. |
