THE SECURITY CENTER - MONITORING STATION
Located in the heart of the New Orleans Central Business District, the fortress-like Security Center was built originally as the Federal Reserve Bank.
The Security Center is a UL certified monitoring station providing local service 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The entire building has been rated AAA fire and wind resistive by the Property Insurance Association of Louisiana.
In the case of an emergency, all alarm signals will be forwarded to the backup receivers in Colorado at BOLD's disaster recovery center next to the United States military's NORAD installation. All voice calls and dispatching will take place at the IBM disaster recovery center in Dallas, TX.
